Before the Christian words Yeshuah, God, or Lord were used to describe the one true monotheistic god of all three Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, there was a more sacred and less well-known name used to describe him. In Christianity today, there are many misconceptions by believers about the origins of their faith. While it is accepted that a man named Jesus probably existed and was crucified, after his death Jesus' followers then decided that he was divine. This did not happen immediately and the development of this belief in the Incarnation was gradual and complex: Jesus himself certainly never claimed to be God.
